Trinity is rich in history and celebrates the wonderful diversity of its families. Its close knit learning community is fostered through a strong focus on values and the provision of individual attention, enabling the full development of each child.
We provide a vibrant, inclusive and innovative approach to learning where the academic, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each child are met. We offer a large array of extra-curricula opportunities.
Trinity Primary School (formerly St James School) dates back to 1935 when it was run by the Sisters of St Joseph.
In 2006 the site of St James Primary School was chosen as the preferred location for a merger with St Ignatius Primary School, Richmond and the school was then given the name Trinity Primary School. In 2008 the closure of St John the Evangelist school, East Melbourne meant that, in 2009 Trinity Primary School was further strengthened, incorporating St John’s students into the school population.
We are proud of our bright and modern facilities, affordable fee structure and contemporary vision which acknowledges this history, whilst embracing our strong identity as Trinity Primary School.
In a world of rapid change and development, Trinity Primary School provides a personalised, challenging and comprehensive curriculum designed to assist each student to achieve their full potential.
