Physical Education

Trinity Primary School employs a specialist Health and Physical Education teacher who ensures that all students receive a high quality Health and Physical Education program designed around the student’s individual needs and abilities.

Our program encompasses all aspects including Social and Community Health and Movement and Physical Activity. Students enjoy a wide range of physical and sporting experiences focusing on the sequential development of fundamental motor skills, gymnastics, dance, athletics, fitness and sport education. Our students thoroughly enjoy excellent facilities with a full basketball/netball/tennis court as well as an area to play AFL/Soccer. We also make use of our large Multipurpose room when necessary.

Interschool sports and carnivals

Our students from year 3-6 successfully compete in sports carnivals for Athletics and Swimming as well our Year 5 and 6 students also complete in Interschool sports.


All students from prep-6 participate in swimming lessons year. The program is usually undertaken at the end of the year with 10 lessons held over 2 weeks. We are fortunate to be able to use the facilities at Xavier College Kew.
